The Limits of Nationalism
Einstein's discoveries have had an enormous impact on the world of science that we're still building on. He once said, i have the same view about national allegiance as i do to allegiance to my insurance company. Nationalism was a force of destruction, ultimately, that would set people against each other. I think it's much more interesting to know that he fought for civil rights, that he, you know, that robeson came to visit him,. In this in so many ways, i see einstein is still with us, and as a figure that exceeds specific scientific discoveries.
