The biggest mistake I see in bottoms up is a company that's starting off with a really clear focus on mid market. Almost all problems that I see software companies solve, there is an incumbent solution. And the thing I like about bottoms up market stuff is I can usually tell whether the founder has done enough work because they can usually tell me this is the range of solutions that our customer prospects are dealing with.
