The Mirror Neuron System in Language

There are at least two ways that we go about understanding others. The first is our more instinctual way of understanding others. But we also can understand the mind of another in this more effortful kind of a modeling way. And you know, one of the things that motivated me to write the book is I just don't think we have a lot of tools for empathizing with each other.
