How Similar Are Habits of Thought and Habits of Action?
We have habits of thought in exactly the same way that we have habits of behavior. We think in particular patterns. And it's very possible that the the thought that drives those habitual outward behaviors like brushing our feet could be changed by thinking through a map problem. It is increddibly difficult to do, because it is the thoughts, right? But if you start thinking about your thoughts as something that you can indirectly change in terms of its habits, that starts to open the doorway to make some big changes potentially.
