i was a two time national champion distance runner. I had been a division one college coach at this point. i could hear spirits speaking to me and giving me specific instructions. And it was through me listening and heeding those instructions that my egoic shell got obliterated. The veil finally lifted, i dropped to my knees,. It was the most anguishing and horrifying and terrifying moment coupled with being the most miraculous life changing moment as well.
