The Meaning of Numbers
Gomatria is based on the fact that most of the time, anciently, when they wanted to indicate a number, they would just use one of the characters. The different characters have different numerical values. And so in order to create large numbers, you would just put a bunch of these characters next to each other. Now you can also spell them out.
