I'm Not Giving Up Hope, Am I?
I don't think it's the lobbying that's most impactful. There's not as much lobbying happening on capital hill on this as you'd think. Good ideas often get lost in the devil in the details. I'm still hopeful it is slowe down. It takes a long time sometimes in washington to get things done, but this is moving faster than normal. So i'm not giving up hope. And if you lick at people who work on this issue, domestic violence groups, they the research shows that this loophole would save lives. An average of 70 women are shot and killed by an intimate partner every single month.
