The Spanish Inquisition Prosecuted Jews and Converts
The Spanish Inquisition did not invent prosecuting Jewish converts. In fact, and it prosecuted them for the exact same alleged offenses as earlier inquisitors were doing decades before. So we have a variety of Christians who are deemed to be straying from the proper path. And then we have these 70 cases, we don't have records of the trials of most of them. The dossier that I encountered is so phenomenal, even though it too is not complete in fact.
