How to Communicate in a Foreign Language

On the tour nights that we went on we got kind of friendly with the tour but it wasn't necessarily anybody. We did use like the the Google translate app was amazing and there was a lot of times we just like pointed it at a sign and it would tell you in English what it said super helpful I mean technology is bad for so many reasons but that is dude. Oh and just one more thing I have to say that the people in Japan the Japanese people were so nice and so helpful. Very friendly and accommodating.
