Why Is My Dad So Sarcasmatic?
There's no one answer to when you become an adult, but it might be interesting to ask your adults when they started feeling like one. Sometimes people use sarcasm as a way to try to be funny. But studies have found that sarcasm can actually be more hurtful than just saying what you mean. The person you're being sarcastic to might think you're being serious and you've now delivered the entirely wrong message.
