The Benefits of Being a Victim

Victims have a very high external locus of control, problems or other people's fault. To some degree, the victim identity gets them what they want because they've attracted a rescuer. But if you're in a relationship with somebody who self identifies as a victim, it's a ticking time bomb on when you are going to be that oppressor.
