The Oil Industry Knows It's Over, but They'll Cling On
I think it's going to be billions that are wasted and we could use money for those things better. It is also, I mean, it's very hard not to see it as a, you know, a delaying tactic for big automotive industry and the oil industry. The tobacco industry hired specific group of lobbyists to simply delay the introduction of restrictions on smoking,. They argued and fought for years, decades. And they delayed and delayed the inevitable in order to sell more cars. Same people work for the oil industry now and they know that they've Screwed Up. That's why I think always upset me just because of the incredible short-sighted stupidity of that position. You'll know this too
