The Origin of the Acadian Empire

The acadians were clearly distinct from the sumerians, and their capital city of akad has never been located. They rose up in defiance of lugul zagase, whom we mentioned before as the man who united the city states of suma. Lugul zagas's influence reached acadian home territory, and sagon did not appreciate this. So how on earth did the acadians defeat such a well organized and battle hardened professional army like the Sumerians?
