Charles McIntosh's Life Story

Charles McIntosh was involved in a lot of businesses in his early years. He made advancements in dye production, particularly with the color known as Prussian blue. Also opened Scotland's first alum works. In 1786 he started manufacturing lead acetate to avoid having to import raw material and pay an import tax for it.
