i think it isn't fair to characterize ro as maybe arriving at a good outcome by the wrong means. I'm and my commitment as a scholar is to tell you what i think the constitution, best read, really does say and doesn't say. And it doesn't always aline with my personal political view. But almost all the states actually protect gun rights, in fact, overwhelmingly. Only six states had laws that tried to restrict even public carrying of guns - forty three were on the other side.
