In England it's not necessary to make eye contact with the people you're drinking with when you say cheers. You'll always have either bad sex or good sex depending on your point of view, in my opinion. This is an area that I think I could deal with properly in a separate x-rated episode of Luke's English podcast which would be all about sex and the language of sex. If you ever look at women's magazines they always have some reference to sex on the front cover,. Women are just obsessed, just as obsessed with sex as we are, why if we're not why do you have so many sexual references on your women's magazines?
Part 1 in a series about informal British English words and expressions. This podcast is devoted to teaching you some of the most common and well-known bits of British slang. Click below for more information and to read a vocabulary list for this episode
