The Founders Fund PayPal Mafia Network
The Founders Fund PayPal Mafia kind of network was in the early 90s of Stanford. There were, at least by some accounts, there was sort of a conservative backlash or counter revolution arguably going on at Stanford. Peter Thiel founded something called the Stanford Review which was a deliberately ideological publication designed to provide sort of a very conservative counterweight to what was going on. But basically these three guys and some other people. He's a general partner at Founders Fund as well.
