Tin City was signed to Atlantic Records here, but their record was blown up overseas. Do you think that Atlantic Records gave them money to tour overseas? No. The lead singer Byron, he had to ask his grandmother for the money. She gave him a razor blade, told him to slit underneath the curtain where she hit her money. $10,000 dropped out on the floor and that was his touring budget. And also, all of the old house music legends can go over seas now and still get a check and still perform and they get performed like rock stars.
