Volunteerism Is Complex and Nuanced and Dysfunctional
I think we get in our own way about writing. I'm not going to be good enough. I can't write all of those kinds of things. And actually, like you said, it's just a habit. It's if you're a journaler, it's really easy because you kind of do it anyway. You don't have to be the greatest writer in the world or I have never met a volunteer engagement professional who hasn't got something that I think other people in our field would love to learn from. We need to help share those experiences with the rest of the world so other people can understand them.
