The Transition From Circumcision to Baptism

There's a biblical theology of first baptism is with water, but then you have circumcision. And I think this is appealing to some prophecies in Daniel which says the Messiah is going to be cut off. The idea is that all the infidelity of Israel that led to them being cut off and the covenant curses that have come upon them, it's come ultimately on Christ. After Christ's cutting off, after his circumcision, in a sense, the sacrament has to be changed. It's no longer a bloody sacrament,. It's sacrament with water.
