Is Dynamic Position Sizing a Good Investment Management Practice?

I want to dig in a little bit more, maybe it's more of a comment, actually. I think there's this narrative being built up right now that during the 2008-2022, the static position-sized managers did better. And we were lucky enough to keep most of our clients over the difficult period. So I really do question this idea or narrative that dynamic position sizing doesn't allow you to capture these big trends. I actually think it does. But if I just go back and quickly look at those at 2008 and 2022, I think actually a lot of the larger managers who definitely used dynamic position sizing did really well.
