Is the Fed to Day in a Position to Combat Inflation?

The inflation that we're seeing is because of a supply side issue, right? It's not because of a demand side issue. So the tools that they would be able to use, yes, they could control inflation. But i don't know how much stamina consumers have left to pay these prices. And i don't knows how much stamina businesses have left to just kind of absorb those cost increases without passing it all through. I actually think we're running the risk of getting slow to the point where then we talk about stagflation as an issue. If they started to raise rates, that would control inflation and also really scare the stock market.
