Is Futurism a Form of Judaism?
i think of what i'm trying to do as a form of futurism. Futurism is not really about the future. It's about the present. And you understand the present in order to say what future is likely to come of this, and then you take steps in the present to either try to shift the future in a different direction or embrace that future. So it's very much not present oriented in that sense. I'll give you one example. One of the aims of jewish education is that we should be teaching our children a way to appreciate and love and care about and think about and whatever.
