In verse 21 of the bible, jesus says there will be great distress, unequalled from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be equalled again. This is all coming on the heels of whatever abomination of desolation jesus has in view. The magic word that i alluded to a moment ago is tribulation. Some people do the mental math on the book of revelation, and they're like, oa, that tribulation, it's going to be this many years, like seven years. And ah, you got this reference in first thessalonians, toward the end. I'm not sure that your conception of rapture even makes sense
