Do House Ads Really Suck?

I don't think the ad sucking really turns me off. But if the way the page is designed and the ad placements make it impossible for me to get to what I want to, then yeah, I will consciously make an effort to avoid. The thing that annoys me more than anything else, like the number one most annoying thing about the internet is every single website I go to, I need to click away some modal asking me to subscribe to their newsletter before I can read whatever I want to read. And that is always a house ad. That is never a Jaguar ad or a Chanel ad. It's always some, you know, please give us your personally identifiable information
