Marcus Rusticus and the Stoics

The Stoics call what they do therapy Chris Ipus wrote a book called on therapeutics. Marcus straight up explicitly says that Junius Rusticus taught him that he required therapy or therapy for his character so we know that Rusticus was doing a kind of stoic therapy with him. We don't have a clear description of it but actually we have a book by Galen who wasn't a stoic but had studied the stoics called on the diagnosis and cure of the soul's passions. He describes a kind of process of philosophical mentoring or therapy that sounds like it could be the type of relationship that Marcus had with Rusticus.
