The Driver Desire of Repression

When Freud thinks of gravity, he normally locates it in the unconscious. For repression to work, we don't just have consciousness or the critical agency or the censorship pushing ideas down. The unconscious is pulling the idea down. So you need to have both going on. Without those two, repression can't take place.
