How to Change the Direction of a Spacecraft Using Gravity Assist
Gravity assist is a clever way to change the direction of a spacecraft with firing your thrusters. What you're doing there is your stealing energy from the planet. So for example, if a probe goes by jupiter and swings around and goes the other way, because of its gravity, it slows JUPITER down tiny bit.
