The Effects of New Policy on Opioid Related Overdose Deaths
Wall: 93 Massachusetts communities which accounted for 66% of the state's population and contributed 78% of the fatal opioid overdose over the study period. We did not see an immediate association with opioid related overdose deaths and the implementation of these programs, he says. But we did see a slope change and a slope change represents change over time where you're bending the curve. Wall: In this case it was about a 7% decrease in the expected slope of opioid related emergency responses.
