Introduction
J.S. and Dara became fascinated by American music while listening to faraway radio signals late at night in Nairobi, Kenya. That's when he decided his own American dream was to come here and become a singer. His first album is full of great songs about leaving home and finding oneself in a strange country pursuing an unknown path. We sat down with him recently in an L.A. studio and asked him to share his American dream with us.
