What Are Some of the Mistakes That Startups Make in Avoiding AWS?

Every reinvent conference is basically another episode of the red wedding where AWS just no shots all the startups in a room and kills them one by one. What I think in fact from the previous discussion, my takeaway was that the cracking the market is a harder problem than cracking the technology. So I would adjust the market risk first. And if I can find a way to enter a market and see adoption and buy it option or figure out a way to identify what the pain point is and work backwards from that, that to me gives an instant edge over any technical advantage we might have built ahead of time before backing the market risk.
