The Boys: A Review

I think the show is saying you shouldn't idolize anyone. Almost everyone that you can idolize in the show turns out to be kind of a full of shit or a monster in their own right. If you give celebrity superpowers, they will become entitled lazy petty villains. Just hero worship corrupts the soul for both the person doing the worshiping and the person receiving it. It's basically a reality television show slash Disney franchise that does some fighting around the edges in a very choreographed scripted way. We're doing a fine job. This is a great episode.
