Feynman and Shannon - What's the Connection?

Shannon was a much more retiring, introverted, closed-door sort of person. His master's thesis is described as the most influential master's thesis of all time. He did so with that humility and what came up for me at one point was this beginner's mind kind of approached at things where he didn't seem to let preconceived notions get in his way.
