There's been this conflict about identity and whether they should be together or apart. This is something that's been happening in the region for a very, very long time. In general, we can say that on the part of eucranians, there's been a desire have autonomy or independence. So it's a conflict with some pretty deep historical roots. But each time ukraine tried to be independent, it was brought back in to be together with russia.
