The Cost of Adapting to a Warming Planet
I think the really big caveat to just say out loud is who can afford the cost of adapting? And you talk about in the book how heat is democratic, it will affect you no matter what as a person. Go to any city in the world, go to the rich neighborhoods and to the poor neighborhoods and you will see that the rich neighborhoods are cooler. Money buys coolness in our world. There's no question about that.
