538's own Nate Silver took to Twitter to poll Democrats on who they want the Republican nominee in 2024 to be. After more than seven years of Trump being absolutely anathema to Democrats, would they pick anyone but him? Well, 230,000 people or bots voted. And the results came back showing that quote on quote Democrats chose Trump over DeSantis by a four to three ratio.
