animations are often quite over used. I think the people that that i've encountered in academi are either very, very heavy users of animations, or use absolutely none of them in in their work. And so my main thing is to sort of think very carefully about what would enhance learning of the people watching the presentation. For me, tha often not using a star wipe or a dissolve or whatever. I tend to use tools in which objects on the slide move around for different reasons. This is very easy to use if you use apple products, if you use keynote. Keynote has the thing called magic move, which lets different objects kind of move around the screen really, really easily.
