The Conscious Consistent Church Method Is Better Than Zero Shot Prompting

Our method which we call conscious consistent church or ccs this can recover correct answers from inputs in a purely unsupervised way with high accuracy. One of the main findings we have is that our method can actually even slightly outperform zero shot prompting and so I think that was already surprising. You can also prompt a model to try to get it to output false answers even to questions that it knows the answer to. So intuitively if the model is able to predict the next token well it should predict that okay on this new example the answer that would actually be listed should also be incorrect.
