The Effects of Training on Fat Oxidation Rate

As you increase the intensity, the fat oxidation goes up and then it drops off. In an untrained person, is that about 40% of the O2 max and then with training, it goes up to around 60. The whole point is you can go faster. You've got more glycogen stored, which is what happens to training. You can burn fat at a higher rate. It's really a factor of a factor because it is VO two max goes up as well.
