Using Noise-Canceling Headphones as Heart Rate Monitors

Meta’s ad-free subscription version of Facebook and Instagram will be available in the EU, the EEA, and Switzerland starting next month. Google has announced research into audio plethysmography that uses the hardware for active noise canceling to sense heart rate. And US president Joe Biden has issued an executive order directing federal agencies to develop safety guidelines around generative AI.
