How Did You Become a Speaker?

All throughout high school, my nickname was Shy Ross. When I got into university, I came across a piece of content that said if you want to be successful in business, it's important to do public speaking and engage with people. And at that moment, I was dreading it because I was like, Oh no, I'm Shy Ross. Like I can't do public speaking. This is not something that I can do. So I signed up to speak at a bunch of local events and I was going to talk about social media. At the end of each of those presentations, I was a sweaty mess.
