Is It Impossible to Know?
I wonder when you sit down to write something like the song next year, right? That song did not chart. But I don't understand why, because it's a great song and it came out right before New Year's Eve. So there's an optimism, a wonderful optimism in that song. Do you look to the past and say, well, thrift shop worked or can't hold us work because it did this or glorious? Or is it just impossible to know?
