Are You Trying to Unsettle the Self?
I want to talk a little bit about, I want to get your take on this. It seems to me so much of biblical religion wants to unsettle the self. So even Moses, I'm going to go look and find out what this is. Take off your shoes, you're on Holy Ground. The breakthrough of the divine into human experience that rearranges it. That I think is primarily American, particularly when sort of melded together with that sort of very distinctively American history of new thought.
