Mckay's work is in part seen as so controversial, because he's willing to make that analysis. It has made it much more difficult to have an analysis of politics without being accused of helping the far right. If you can't admit that the corrupt centre of the democratic party is part of the problem on so many issues, then you're not being honest with how the world works. I reject that argument, but i think our culture is so sensitive to that argument that that's why, a sense, why mckay’s work is, in part seenas so controversial.
