The French Protests

The constitutional court today surrounded by like an army basically because they're afraid of the place just getting ransacked by protesters. The decision largely holding up Macron's executive order to do this radical like evil thing of raising the retirement age from 60 to 64. France has a much higher percentage of people who work for the state who work in government jobs than most places else. You also have a much higher role of the state in the economy telling people when they must retire or must not retire. All of these combined we've had 30 years the entire time that my can't fire people is very difficult. I mean you can but it's very difficult to fire people.
