What's Going on in the Market?
The Nasdak is now down 11 % from its november high. The market will generally be influenced by two things: increasing or creasing profits and the price that investors are willing to pay for those profits. Even though it was up 28% last year, corporate earnings actually went up for the am p 500 forty nine%. For every one per cent increase in profit, the market only went up half percent.
