CNN's John Sutter looks at some of the reasons why people get sick on elevators. He says there are plenty of examples from past and present, including a barrage of health information online today. In 1943, 250 elevator operators abruptly went on strike in the middle of the day around Rockefeller Center which stranded an estimated 28,000 people. "It's so irresponsible when we stoke unnecessary fears about technology," Sutter writes.
