I think as a young reporter, especially you mentioned that access when a CEO wants to talk to you, there's a little razzle dazzle. You sort of, it's easy to get sort of overwhelmed and sort of take everything they say at face value. I interviewed Bernie Madoff in prison. That was a wake up call that everything people are saying isn't always true to you. And then it was through experiences like that, through really reflecting on the role of CEOs in our society after writing the corner office column.
