Plant Medicine and the Amazonian People's Mythology

I think that such a great int of there's this tradition that people, especially in the west, come from, and our visibility is pretty shallow. It's not actually that every indigenous community has mythologies or thinks the way that we've decided to just blank it over and assume it's all the same underneath the surface. I started realizing that there was a very symmetrical relationship there. Whereas the plant spirit community as a whole tends to have an extremely reductive, caricature like idea of what indigenous people think like. And so which is very, very detached from the actual reality of what indices people perceive plants and plant allies to be like.
