Non Response Bias in Survey Design
Survey research is one of the first things that we try to talk about with survey research. The method you use to sample from a population often has a big impact on how representative you can claim your results to be. Other methods such as convenient sampling, where you're just grabbing whoever's available, or whoever signs up to take surveys don't have the same level of rigor in terms of sampling and understanding your error.
